For my birthday, I generously received a gift card for Amazon and bought one of my new favorite toys, a Ninja blender! The kids and I have had fun inventing smoothies and I made my salsa in about 5 seconds π Smoothies are a great way to get protein and fruit into the kids for breakfast lunch or dinner. If you buy frozen or freeze your own fruit, that helps to make the smoothie creamy, like ice cream. Especially frozen bananas! Frozen mango, frozen banana and vanilla yogurt is delicious together but here is the recipe for our new family favorite…Peanut Butter Nutella!
Peanut Butter Nutella Smoothie
Ingredients
2 frozen bananas, broken into large chunks
1 cup vanilla yogurt
3 Tablespoons of nutella
2 Tablespoons of peanut butter (or almond butter)
2/3 cup of milk
1/2 teaspoon of agave
Directions
Place all the ingredients in your blender and let the blender do its work until smooth! Add more milk if you would like a thinner smoothie.
This makes a great afternoon snack! I’m so glad I got this blender! I will from time to time share the great products I use and please know that I will only recommend ones that I love myself!
Share your favorite smoothie in the Β comments!
My daughter would love this! And I thought a ninja blender would be more expensive! Salsa in 5 seconds, yes please! pinned for later!
I know! This is the one I got and it is amazing. I love using the smoothie cups too, that way I can just make a smoothie and be out the door.
I got a Ninja blender for my birthday in April and I am right there with you, that thing is AMAZING! It makes the smoothies so creamy and smooth and wonderful. The smoothie cups are my favorite part too, because it’s easy to make more than one so everyone can get exactly what they want. Can’t wait to try your Nutella idea!
I like the idea for this – now I gotta get a new blender π
I cannot tell you how much I love the Ninja. I got one for my parents for Christmas too.
Omg yes please! Nutella is so delicious, and I’m sure putting it in a smoothie is even better! Love this idea!
Wow! i never thought of nutella in a smoothie. I love watermelon+pineapple+lemon smoothies and mangoes in smoothies when they are in season

Thanks! I love mangoes! Mango Banana smoothies are another favorite in my family.
This sounds AMAZING! We make smoothies all the time at my house so we will have to try out this new ingredient…I happen to have a jar on hand!
Thanks!
That’s so much better than kids licking nutella from the jar itself. At least it has an edge of nutrition to it. Will definitely try
Oh, this looks yummy! My favorite things are in that smoothie! π
I love nutella! It’s the perfect addition to a smoothie. π YUM!
YUM! My favorite way to use up overripe bananas is to make a smoothie with banana, chocolate almond butter, and almond milk – so good and fast!
Oh my gawwwwwwwwsh this sounds incredible. BRB, off to get me some Nutella…
Sounds like a pretty delicious smoothie. Next time we get Nutella, I’ll have to give

Nutella in anything works for me π
Thanks! Let me know how it turns out π

Peanut butter and Nutella is an amazing combination. Too bad it isn’t that healthy, but it’s a nice treat!
I have never tried Nutella in my smoothies! Sounds delicious.
This sounds amazing! I make a similar smoothie without the Nutella, but will be adding it in next time! Yum!!
This sounds yummy! I might even omit the agave because the nutella is quite sweet.
